  • Fundraiser For Napa & Sonoma

    There is a truth in the statement: “Mother Nature is undefeated!” And for no year does this seem truer than 2017. With hurricanes, floods and now fires, she is leaving her mark across the USA. It seems as though nearly everyone has been touched by these tragic events, and sadly the Napa/Sonoma fires have touched many people we know directly. We have been reading about and seeing the videos of homes, vineyards and wineries burning to the ground. As I write this newsletter, over 3,500 structures have been destroyed or suffered major damage and, more tragically, over 20 lives have been lost.

    Ironically, today I am meeting with Alan Greenberg of Signorello Winery in Napa Valley. On Monday we found out the winery completely burned to the ground. Thankfully no one was hurt in their attempts to fight off the fire. As I thought about the Signorello wines and what I would say to Alan, I realized we had to find a way to help all of our friends in Napa and Sonoma. So, this weekend, starting today through Sunday, we will donate 5% of all California wine sales (by the glass, flights, bottles and wines-to-go) to a special fund that has been established to help those who have lost so much in Napa and Sonoma Counties. So let’s drink a few California gems this weekend and raise some $$$ for the relief effort.
